South Secondary School
Our school was built in 1928 as 3 classrooms. 2 classrooms were added to this building in 1965. The building covers 167 square meters and its garden is 1129 square meters.
Just below this building as a secondary school building, the reinforced concrete building of 2 classrooms was built as 144 square meters in 1974, then the 4-classroom wooden building was added to the reinforced concrete building by the villager and the building was used as a secondary school. The new building, which was opened in the academic year of 1993-1994, was built on the treasury land at the Simav entrance of the town. The building sits on 350 square meters and consists of two floors, and the construction of a new annex building with 10 classrooms and 8 classrooms started in 2009. In the 2010-2011 academic year, the students of the old school in the village moved to the new building. Education continues under a single roof.
Due to the transition to the 4 + 4 + 4 education system in the 2012-2013 academic year, it was divided into two schools as primary and secondary schools. Students from Koyunoba and Örenli villages are moving to our school since the 2012-2013 academic year.
